We are Hiring: Sales and Development Manager

Job Description

Due to expansion, Integrity365 are looking to recruit a highly motivated Sales and Development Manager to lead their knowledgeable team of c. 10 IFAs, growing to c.18 by the end of 2021.

 

The Sales and Development Manager will work closely with the COO and other key stakeholders across the business, to take responsibility for the day to day management of the independent advisory team, including T&C monitoring in conjunction with the Compliance Director.

 

The successful candidate will be required to coach, train, develop and monitor the performance of the IFAs to ensure that clients receive an outstanding service and that all regulatory requirements and standards are met and maintained.

 

To succeed, you will be very commercially aware, happy to lead by example and used to setting and managing by measures and key performance indicators.  The ability to create and report on a suite of MI to share the performance of the IFA business with key stakeholders is essential.

The Role:

  • Manage and develop a team of Advisers primarily located in the South but with growth planned UK wide.
  • Carry out regular team and 1-2-1 meetings with the IFA team including the management of activity levels, business levels and KPI’s reviews.
  • Develop objectives, business plans and targets for the IFAs.
  • Develop, coach and motivate the Advisers to ensure performance targets and company standards within the FCA regulatory framework are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship across the business and with trusted third-party partners.
  • Assist the COO to recruit and retain new and existing Advisers/teams.
  • Develop, coach and motivate the Advisers to ensure performance targets and company standards within the FCA regulatory framework are achieved.
  • Responsibility for day to day delivery of T&C activity to the IFAs supported by the Compliance Director, to include CPD monitoring.
  • Accurately compile MI reports together with any other ad hoc reports required.
  • Implement effective training and development plans for all direct reports via an annual assessment and ongoing during the year.
  • The successful candidate will not be advising themselves.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in managerial roles – T&C and/or Adviser Management.
  • Competent Adviser Status – Dip PFS, JO7 and Diploma Level 4 (or equivalent).
  • Proven success as a business leader with commercial and organisational awareness skills.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of advisory process within financial services.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of FCA rules.
  • Up to date industry knowledge through CPD and other activity.
  • Ability to plan, manage and maximise use of own time and effectiveness.
  • Ability to maintain and exceed very high standards of performance and activity.
  • Self-motivated, proactive ‘can do’ attitude, professional in manner and approach.
  • Enthusiastic, confident and assertive.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Well-developed analytical skills to identify trends from management information and sales observations.
  • Ability to monitor, evaluate and develop others.
